When you find yourself in a position and you have to make a decision it doesn’t matter what decision you make as long as you stand behind your decision.

When we decided that we would take custody of my daughters children. We chose to take in these three children. Some people thought it was wrong some people thought it was right, some people think were amazing, some people think we’re crazy. Maybe we are a little bit of everything but it was our decision to make.

This is the type of decision that once you’ve made it no matter how hard it gets you have to stick with it.

We’ve decided to find all the positive reasons. We looked at all the positive things that we are going to get from this decision. Will looked at all the positive things that the children are going to gain from this decision.

This weekend I realized that this is a second chance for us I was not able to stay home and raise my children like I wanted to for as long as I wanted to. I was able to stay home for five years but now I get to raise these three children and I get to stay at home and be able to be to do the things that I would not have been able to do.

If you are having to make this decision in your life now I hope that you can see the blessings that are coming your way if you decide to take them. If you need help making that decision I suggest that you start a list of pros and cons. There are some things that we have lost because we are raising these children. But so many things we will gain. I did the pros and cons sheet and when I looked at it the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Some of my pros we’re getting to see these kids happy keeping them in our lives restoring their faith in family getting the hugs and I love you’s. My cons were losing our freedom to do what we want when we wanted, kids are expensive and they wouldn’t fit in my car.Continue to follow my journey my constant thoughts and rambles as I continue on with these eggs in my basket
